GRANTS FOR WRITERS CLASS NOW ON CD.
What writer hasn't bemoaned the need of funds to move their project along? If you, or someone you know, is a writer who might benefit from financial assistance to pay for all or part of the project costs, my class: "Follow the Money: Grants Available for Writers" is now available on CD. The price of $19.95 includes free 1st Class postage for Qty 1 within the continental U.S. (add $1.00 for each additional CD).
This is good news! Why? For the last couple of years I've been offering this class (and other writer classes). The grants class provides an informative overview about writer grants (and also defines residencies, awards, and, fellowships - which are other supports for writers). It also provides a respect for the process, spells out some "pros and cons" of applying for grants, and perhaps most importantly, provides writers with source information where they can research grants being offered by organizations that best match their own writing project/the writer. However, I could not be everywhere to share this information. Thanks to the CD format, you can now order the class and listen to the presentation at your convenience (informative handouts included).

POETRY E-BOOK of RAPTURE: LOVE OF THE HEART
I'm told that December 6th, 2006 is the scheduled release date for both the e-book version and the new POD print edition of my mystic poetry collection, "Rapture: Love of the Heart."
I'll update you with more info later, but, my oh my oh my are you going to LOVE the cover!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you haven't already visited my newest website for AshootingstarZ production, please do (and revisit it from time to time). It's taken longer than I'd anticipated to upgrade it with all the features I'm wanting to utilize, but things are coming together. In particular, there's a Classes page for Writers and also Peace classes. Those pages provide a sign up method so you'll receive notices specifically about classes being made available for downloading, offered on teleseminars (classes offered by phone), as well as new CD releases. In addition to "classes," there's going to be interviews with people of some expertise offered via phone or downloading. It's a good place to sign up. (And, I do NOT give away, sell or rent your name to other organizations).

REDDING CALIFORNIA BOOK FAIR
Do you or someone you know live close to Redding, California?
I'll be at the Redding Mall's Author Book Fair on Saturday, Nov. 11th between 10 a.m and 4:00 p.m. Authors will be staffing many, many, many dozens of tables at this Pre-Holiday event, selling their own books and chatting with people up close and personal. Look for me there. Several of us Oregon authors are carpooling down to Redding for this annual event. This is an invitation to start your Christmas shopping with books, books, and more books!
