Blog and Website Issues
My communications to you have been sketchy on several fronts for which I apologize:
I'd launched my blog, A Radical Peace, months ago intending to utilize it as an "antidote to civilization." After several months, it gave up the ghost. I could sometimes place copy on it, but it didn't get on-line. Othertimes, I could access old copy on the web, but was often unable to get into the edit site to make new copy. Othertimes I'd call it up and see it fine, yet when I tried to contact the company in charge of my blog, it's email told me I didn't exist (even though I was reading the copy). Ode to technology...
Hand in hand, I held off offering additional website newsletters both because I've been awaiting promised good news about my new book, and also because I've been hoping to keep political commentary on the blog and writing info on my website. Since the latter doesn't seem to be happening easily, January 2005 will see a rebirth of this website newsletter in a more timely manner.

A RADICAL PEACE Updates
My manuscript, A RADICAL PEACE, is being seriously considered by a very fine publisher whose intent has been to publish work meant to impact the world. With several bestsellers on their present book list, their intent is creating waves. I ask each of you to lend your prayers and focus for its publication so that the power and goodness it holds within it may be releasedn so that the public at large can be nourished and empowered by it.
Meanwhile, I've begun submitting articles excerpted from A Radical Peace to various publications. I'm also outlining classes that will teach, to put it briefly, "ways to acknowledge and release the ties that bind us to conflict in our lives."
More on those "shored up" plans by February, 2005

AUTHORS AND BOOKS OF NOTE:
First, if you have not yet heard of the work of the work of Masaru Emoto, run don't walk to your bookseller (or favorite website) and check out the several books outlining his revolutionary work.
The first introductory book is "The Hidden Messages In Water" ($16.95; Beyond Words Publishing)There's also a DVD covering that work. That is followed up by three other works: "Messages from Water, Volumes 1, 2, and 3 ($39.95 each).
Using frozen water crystals from various rivers, streams, holy sites, treatment plants, Dr. Emoto has photographed how water is affected by thoughts and words projected upon it; also how it is affected by being ignored. Stagnate, ugly, misshapen crystals are transformed beautifully when words such as "love" or "thank you" are taped or spoken to them. In reverse, beautifully created water crystals can be shattered by saying "I will kill you."
So, with the human body being 70% water, how do our projected thoughts, attitudes, and words affect others for good or ill?
If you've seen the movie, "What the Bleep Do We Know" you'll have been introduced to some of this work. Learn more and begin to transform the focus of your own interactions.
*****
Second, a couple I know, DavidPaul Doyle and Candace Doyle, recently self-published a book entitled "The Journey That Never Was" ($17.95; iUniverse). While not for everyone, many of you may be interested in this work. In it, he and his wife share their experiences of channeling the teachings of the Holy Spirit, with the intent of the book being to offer lessons that will help others also hear the words of the Holy Spirit.
This book is unique if only because the message is purported to be by the Holy Spirit. Over the years, there have been channeled messages from numerous entities. To my knowing, this is the first offering Holy Spirit teachings.
Committing to writing a book is a monumental and rewarding task. Combine that with the potential controversy of some works, and it's been easy for many people to simply give up on their plans. I commend these two individuals for their faith and commitment to helping create goodness and positive change in our world.

Third, if any of you are writers (or know of a writer) who doesn't like the thought of having to promote your work in public, check out "The Shy Writer" ($14.95; Booklocker.com). It's a "tool" - based book that can help you decide who you are and how best to promote your work in ways that are comfortable for you. For info, go to www.theshywriter.com .
